8:30 Very physical play by Cleverly as he shoves down John Paul Boyle as he attacks the net along with Chris Jackson, earning Hartwick a free kick right outside the box, taken by Boyle, but blocked away by the defense.
5:53 Boyle broke through the Stags defense but could not get a good foot on the ball and sent the shot into the hands of Francini slowly.
5:25 The Stags come right back with Christian Uy and Sam Bailey attacking the net. Uy pulled back and took a shot which curved just over the rightside of the net and out of bounds.
4:25 David Piedrahita is taken down hard on a sliding tackle by Liam Parrington, earning a free kick. Nice sportsmanship by Parrington as he helps Piedrahita up. Kelly takes the kick and after bouncing off of McLeod's head it found Skara's foot, who missed the net and eventually a foul was called on Steve Desmond as he battled for the ball.
1:59 Another free kick for the Stags after Skara was fouled just in front of midfield, again taken by Kelly, but he drops it to McLeod who attacks and drops the ball to Matthew Uy, but the ball is put out by Hartwick and eventually a foul is called on Fairfield ending the threat.
The half ends with the score tied at 0. A much similar game to the last one against Adelphi, with Fairfield playing their normal tight defense and gaining a few shots on net, but not converting. Hartwick looks solid with a lot of chances of their own, but all have been turned aside by Fairfield.
Should be an exciting second half.
