Stags hold 1-0 lead as the half comes to a close. Fairfield tried to pull ahead by two goals as the clock wound down, with under one minute left in the half, as Sam Bailey raced down the field and pulled the goalie out, dropped the ball off to Matthew Uy, who took a shot that was deflected wide of the empty net. Uy quickly set up for a Stags corner kick, and it was deflected in the box, but saved by Yale's goalkeeper.
Almost 1,000 students in attendance tonight.
